Paralysed Whilst Sleeping

February 8th, 2010 by admin

The following article takes an in depth analysis into sleep paralysis and tries to provide some solutions and answers. After reading it you should be in a better position to deal with the problem.

REM sleep is the state of sleep when we experience dreams. REM sleep paralysis is a condition that occurs when sleep is suddenly interrupted and the person was having a dream. The paralysis sets in because the transition from being totally asleep to being fully awake is a gradual process. When it becomes sudden the body and the brain’s reaction times are not the same and this causes the paralysis.

Why does it occur when you are having dreams? This is simply because dreams are not real and you should not be reacting to them. So when sleep is suddenly interrupted during REM sleep and you try and react to things you believe to be real, the paralysis sets in.. Can you imagine what would happen if we reacted to everything that happened whilst we are asleep.

Other places that will be able to help you with this condition are any one of the following: how do you stop Sleep Paralysis, help with Sleep Paralysis, treatment for sleep paralysis

So you can clearly see that anything that will interrupt the normal sleep pattern of an individual will likely cause it. There are some things that the brain reacts to even if you are asleep. Light and sound are two examples I can think of. So making sure no light filters to your face when you sleep and a relatively quite environment are good.

There are also some things that are known to precipitate this condition. I’m referring to things like alcohol, smoking and caffeine when taken at night or before sleeping. Try and avoid tension and putting yourself under a lot of stress.

REM sleep paralysis is an acknowledged medical condition and you shouldn’t feel ashamed or embarrassed to get help for it. There are quite a number of ways that you can deal with this condition and with the internet alternatives are never hard to find.

5 Key Causes Of Ringing In The Left Ear

February 8th, 2010 by admin

Do you have a problem with your left ear? Just take a few minutes to go through this article as it looks at some of the things that cause the ringing and what you can do about it.

There are a number of possible causes of ringing in the left ear. In fact I have shared some of them in my previous writings. Below I have decided to provide a helpful list that you should be able to read through right to the end with ease.

The ringing that you are experiencing might be due to one or more of the below listed causes. Regardless of whatever is causing your problem you will be able to find remedies from any one of the following:

how to rid of ringing in ear, stop the buzzing in my ears, humming in the ears

  • You might be undergoing a period where your stress levels are high. This can be due to a passed or upcoming event. Being under stress may result in some chemical and hormonal changes that may affect the fluid in your ears
  • Being inactive or lacking exercise: If you are always seating and not doing anything then chances are you will cause some problems in your body that can manifest as that humming or buzzing sound in your ear.
  • Bad eating habits: Junk food and alcohol can be the reason why your ear sounds like a train or car motor. Reduce your alcohol intake and start eating healthy foods.
  • Frequent or constant exposure to loud noises or sound: Some examples of loud sound that I can think of are music in a night club, a noisy working environment like a construction site just to name a few.
  • Childhood Medical Problems: Chances are when you were young some surgery tubes were inserted in your ears. This could possibly have affected the internal parts and could also be causing headaches and irritation. If this is the cause then it should be attended to as soon as possible because it will continue to get worse.

Some instrumental melodies use gentle sounding instruments, such as pianos, saxophones, and flutes, to creating relaxing music that can be used as an insomnia remedy.   There are no harsh sounds or loud instruments to reduce the relaxation of the music and the tone of the music will flow gently in and out with the melody.A person will feel relaxation due to the music and restful sleep for the entire night.
