why is stanford a good school?

December 1st, 2008 by admin

Im looking for a college that has a good medical school. Im writing a paper on a good pre- med school and my teacher suggested Stanford. Does any one know some good concrete details about Stanford University? What GPA are you required to have? Whats the drawbacks? im looking for some good facts. thanks :)

Stanford is very selective, with its undergrad and graduate programs. You can look the GPA and SATs on www.collegeboard.com.

Stanford Medical School is ranked 8th in the country.

You would probably be majoring in biology or something with science if you want to go to Stanford Medical School. Get involved with the medical school while in undergrad and network with some of the professors there.

Stanford gets many research projects. I would think the best and the brightest, could be a drawback, as well as incentive. I would be scared of the projects. It’s up with Berkeley on the projects.

I would be scared to be accepted into world-wide projects, at a renowned school. You can Google Stanford as well as I.

I would e-mail the alumni and ask questions, if I were accepted.
