Dr. Leonard Tau is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. He continued his education, receiving his Doctor of Medical Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA and a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Somerdale, NJ. Dr. Tau is a member of the American Dental ociation, Pennsylvania Dental ociation, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and many other professional organizations, including the International Team for Implantology, Philadelphia County Dental Society, Eastern Dental Society, Northeast Philadelphia Dental Implant Study Club and Main Line Dental Study Club. This commitment ensures you the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow.
Dr. Tau’s extensive continuing education includes esthetics, implant restoration, cosmetic veneer preparations, and endodontics. His recent training course in veneers allows him to offer you beautiful anterior esthetics and the smile you have always dreamed of.
Outside of work, Leonard Tau enjoys spending time with his wife, Risa, and their young son, Aidan in Blue Bell, PA. He is an avid sports fan and his hobbies include computers, photography and travel.

To help you drown out the noise of the dental visit (which is the worst part for some patients), we offer iPods with personalized playlists that you can use to listen to some of your favorite music.

We also offer TV monitors in all treatment rooms, where you can watch TV or one of the many movies or sitcoms in our DVD library. Many of our patients have said that this alone makes the visit fly by! And most of our patients who are parents state that this is the only quiet time they get to sit down and watch something relatively uninterrupted!!)

We also offer massage features in all the treatment chairs, to allow for a comfortable and relaxing visit.

If all of this is still not enough to make you feel calm and relaxed while you are here, Dr. Tau, also a sedation dentist, can prescribe oral medication that will reduce your anxiety, or you can request that Dr. Tau use nitrous oxide (laughing gas) during your visit. After the visit Dr. Tau will offer you hot, moist towels to clean up.
